Who are Ahmadi Muslims ?

Qaadiyanism is a cult that denies the finality of the Prophet Hood with Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam). This cult was founded by a person called Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in the 19^th century in the Province of Punjab of India when the country was under the rule of British Raj. The most dangerous belief of Qaadiyanism is that the founder Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was a prophet after Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Distorting the Holy Quran nullifying of Jihad, proclaiming the muslims infidels and maintaining close ties with the foes of Islam and muslims are some other erroneous beliefs and practices of Qaadiyanism.

The cult was named after the birthplace of the founder Qaadiyanism a city in the Punjab Province of India.

Other Name of Qaadiyanism:

“Ahmadiyyah” is the name of Qaadiyanism. It is derived from the name of the founder Ahmad. The followers of Qaadiyanism call themselves “Ahmadies” in Africa and some other parts of the world. But they are well known as Qaadiyanies in Pakistan. India and other parts of the Muslim world. As the name “Ahmad” directly denotes the name of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).it helps the followers of Qaadiyanism to mislead the Muslims.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad had may diversified claims that the he gradually put forward in his lifetime.

First he claimed that divine revelation (Wahy) was sent down on to him by way of intuition.

He claimed that he was the reformer (Mujaddid) of the era and similar to Jesue Christ (Alai his salaatu wasallam) in humility, calmness and simplicity.

He claimed that he was the promised Maseeh who will appear at the time of the end of the world. But he said the prophesy given to him was only partial.

In 1901 he claimed the full prophecy.

Ultimately in the year 1904 he claimed that he was Krishana one of the Hindu Gods.

In April 1907 Mirza Ghulam Ahmad challenged Mawlana Sanaullah Tasry one of the most respected and well known Ulama of India who was very active in disclosing the unbelief of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who made Dua to cause death to who so ever be a liar between both of them during the life of the other and to make plague as the cause for such cursed death.

The Due of Ghulam Ahmad materialized and in 13 months and 10days Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was terminally ill with plague and died on 26^th may1908. However Mawlana Sanaullah lived 40 years after demise of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and passed away peacefully on 15^th march 1948.

Successors of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad:

Following the death of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in 1908, his bosom friend Hakeem Noorud Deen succeeded him as Leader of Qaadiyanism. Hakeem Noorud Deen held this position till 1914. After demise there was a split among the Qaadiyanies. They divided in to two as Qaadiyanies and Lahoories each of which had its own leader. Mirza Basheerud Deen Mahmood became the leader of Qaadiyanies and Muhammad Ali Lahoori became leader of Lahoories. Both the leaders claimed the legal right to the leader ship after Hakeem Noorud Deen.

Despite the fact that the words and writings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad were accepted and sanctified by both groups alike. Qaadiyanies publicly declared Mirzan Gulam Ahmad a prophet while Lahoories did not do so. Never the less they believed that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the promised Maseeh and the reformer of the14th Hijri century. However Muslims do not differentiate between the Qaadiyanies and Lahoories since for them kufr is one and the same, although it comes in different shapes and forms.

After Mirza Ghulam Ahmad met his end. Hakeem Noorud Deen said Mirza Ghulam Ahmad had appointed him as successor to him and then he was sworn in as successor to him in1908. He held this position until 1914. Basheerud Deen Mahmood succeeded to the position following the demise of this predecessor Hakeem Noorud Deen in1914. He proclaimed that he was the leader of not only Qaadiyanism but also the whole world and his power covered all the continents.

The son of Basheerud Deen Mahmood Nasir Ahmad succeeded his father in1965 as the 3^rd successor to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. The leadership was held by him till1982 in which year he met his death. Following his death his younger brother Mirza Tahir came to power and he was in office till he died in2003. After that Mirza Masroor Ahmad became the5th successor to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and he continues to be the leader of Qaadiyanism to date. He is based in London.

Prophet Hood in Qaadiyanism

The Prophesy was claimed not only by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad the founder of Qaadiyanism but even by number of his followers such as Muhammad Sadique and Ghulam Muhammad.

1) Qaadiyanies believe that they have a God who has all the human qualities he fasts prays sleeps wakes up errs writes enjoys sexual intercourse and bears children. They also claim that their God is not the God of the Muslims.

2) Qaadiyanies believe the prophet hood is perpetual and it does not end with Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) They do not accept the Quranic verses and Hadeeses in the respect.

3) Qaadiyanies believe that they have their own book named “Al-Kitabul Mubeen” in 20^th parts equal to holy Quran in rank.

4) Qaadiyanies believe that the city Qaadiyan is not only identical to Holy Makkah or Holy Madeenah in status but even above them in grade.

5) Qaadiyanies believe the obligatory Haj is attending the annual convention of Qaadiyanies held in Qaadiyan.

6) Qaadiyanies believe that the half of their religion and the greatest part of it is to obey the English rulers.

7) Qaadiyanies believe that they are an independent community with an independent religion and they are different from the Muslims in every accept in terms of belief worships etc. They say that there is nothing that could unify themselves and the Muslims. They also believe that their God is not the God of the Muslims their Islam is not the Islam of the Muslims their Quran is not the Quran of the Muslims their prayer is not the prayer of the muslims and their Haj is not the Haj of the Muslims Therefore they see Muslim as Infields and due to this they do not marry Muslims and perform funeral (Janaazah) prayers for them.

The Muslim Ummah has unanimously decided that the followers of Qaadiyanism are kaafirs (infidels) and many Fatwas (religious rulings) have been issued by Ulama of the Muslim world to say that Qaadiyanies are not at all Muslims.

How to confront Qaadiyanism

1)              Ti disclose the truth about Qaadiyanies their beliefs their plants etc.

2)              To publicize the Fatwas of respected Ulama on Qaadiyanism and followers.

3)              To keep on announcing publicly as much as possible that Qaadiyanies are not Muslims.

4)              Not to deal with them to boycott them economically, culturally, socially, etc and to tree them as apostates (Murtads).
5)              To actively invite Qaadiyanies towards Islam.
