An Accredited Platform Specialist (APS) is a highly demanded certification by HP for hardware support which specializes for installation, configurations, up gradation of product’s hardware and software as installation services, backup and restores a device’s configurations and relevant troubleshooting.
This certification provides the ability to corrective maintenance for restoring consumer and business class HP ProCurve Networking and hardware maintenance of HP Blade System and HP ProLiant System to operational levels.
APS Certification Scope and Coverage:
HP APS certification consists of four mainly parts:
· HP ProCurve networking (2008)
Certification of HP ProCurve networking includes HP ProCurve Networking (Switches, wireless products, WAN routers and ProCurve Security Products) installation, configuration and maintenance.
Exam codes are: HP0-216, HP2-T11
· HP BladeSystem [2009]
A BladeSystem is a self-contained server by HP. Certification related to BladeSystem includes the complete configuration, maintenance, deployment and troubleshooting of Blades.
Exam code is: HP2-T15
· HP BladeSystem [2009] upgrades from HP Blade System [2007]
This part of certification is aimed at Service technicians who already hold the certification APS – HP BladeSystem [2007]
· HP ProLiant ML/DL/SL Servers.
This certification provides adaptations with all HP ProLiant Server products, with an emphasis on rapid troubleshooting.
Exam codes are: HP2-T17, HP2-005, HP0-795, HP2-T14

o Implementing HP StorageWorks Virtual Library Systems (HP0-A22)
